Proudly wearing my rainbow hat, standing ( in awe) next to the late Nelson Mandela with Peter Gabriel on the other side, at the launch of the book about 46664 – Mandela’s HIV/AIDS Foundation.
I long for a fairer world, where people are not judged denigrated or abused because of the colour of their skin… We were such idealists in those ‘rainbow’ days.. Rainbows appear and fade away.. but we must absolutely maintain the principle of human rights, justice, dignity for ALL. White privilege is hard for white skinned people to acknowledge, but it is a harsh bane for people of another colour.. I am and always have been a passionate supporter of anti – racism. The rainbow lives in my heart.
