Dusty Springfield – The Look of Love

Thank you for sending so many suggestions as to what kind of music you might like me to post…
I’ve decided to present some of the female singers who had a massive influence on me in the early Sixties, although I didn’t realise it at the time because I was just a young girl back then.
Dusty Springfield – The Look of Love
Released: 1967
There are so many exceptional recordings by Dusty Springfield that it’s hard to pick out one single track, but I chose this one because not only is it a consummate Bert Bacharach song, but it beautifully displays her stunningly unique vocal qualities.
You don’t hear songs like this any more and after all, there truly was ( and is) still only one incomparable Dusty Springfield. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tf1d65OHYXo
