I like being courteous. It works very well. Calms people down, and makes them feel acknowleged.
It’s more natural for me to be courteous than rude, but having said that…I have a Scottish temperament that just lets rip, if I’m pushed beyond.
Why am I saying this? Because I remember ever day at primary school having to courtsey and shake hands with my school teacher.
I actually had no issue with this ritual. It’s rather quaint. The world just feels better when people are nicer to each other…
