Amnesty International made this announcement yesterday. Perhaps now, there’ll be more recognition as to what is actually taking place in Gaza…
YES IT’S A GENOCIDE
Looking back over these horrendous months ( and of COURSE.. including the horror of Oct 7th and the hostage taking ) the subsequent entire year of 2024 has witnessed the total decimation of Gaza, with the slaughter and excessive wounding of tens of thousands of her people. The majority of which ( 70per cent) have been babies, children and women! )
The term ‘Amalek’ was openly used in a speech by the president himself!!
The question is - How long will this genocide continue? How many more men women and children must be slaughtered??? Will anyone be held accountable???!!!
MAKE IT STOP!!!

If you haven’t yet seen the film ‘Israelism’ (@israelismfilm ) I’d highly recommend that you take time to watch it.
It offers profound insight into a subject that is more than often incredibly contentious and polarising, as I’ve often referred to as a Gordian knot of tragic consequences.
Oct 7th was unquestionably a horrendous event..And while I have NEVER condoned the horrific violence that took place, I think it’s necessary to understand some of the history and context, going back at least 75 years.
Over and above EVERYTHING - the most important thing is a just and lasting PEACE for both Israelis and Palestinians.. although admittedly, I’m less and less confident that will ever be achieved. But we must keep doing all we can, together.

As each day passes, the devastation continues unabated.
We must be vigilant towards ever becoming accustomed to seeing the destruction of their lives in any way near ‘normal’.
This is NOT NORMAL!!!
Palestinian people are a proud-dignified, industrious people.
That their lives have been reduced to rubble and untold suffering is NOT the sum total of their identity or existance!
Palestinian children have a RIGHT to live peaceful, secure lives.. To eat, sleep, play, to go to school - and to be safe, happy and free!
They have been constantly punished and traumatised each and every day and night.
They have ALL seen, heard and experienced things that NO CHILD should EVER have to endure.. We have a duty to stand up for them. A duty to advocate on their behalf. Please share this clip with friends, family and colleagues. Stand up for the children of Palestine and NEVER become complacent!!

The horror continues.
Winter has set in.
People are starving.
Their flimsy make-shift tents offer no shelter from the freezing cold.. the wind, rain and sand. It is a version of brutality no human being should EVER have to endure.
All the while, Palestinians are being forced from place to place.. North to South. Like hunted animals in a viscous game of life or death, trying to dodge bullets and bombs.

That means FIVE MONTHS have gone by by in which thousands of Palestinian men women and children ( 70 per cent women and children) have been wounded, killed, displaced, tortured, starved and denied life saving Aid. Imagine how many lives could have been saved in that time frame??!!!!
She adds that she feels there should be more than ‘two’ people in the dock and that the ‘political pressure’ put upon the international justice system has been extreme.
We may feel this has nothing to do with us at our own peril.
International Human Rights are supposed to be maintained for EVERYONE.
Your hard won human rights can be removed without you even realising it!
