Dear Friends,
How many remains of dead children lie beneath the rubble of Gaza?
Look at the images of total decimation of thousands of homes and try to imagine how many remains of tiny bodies lie crushed and inaccessible beneath the layers of shattered concrete. These precious little ones have been pulled out, miraculously by dedicated and exceptional rescue workers, against all odds!
Their family members and have been killed.. Their family structure gone!
What does that mean for their future?? Lives ruined with the deep and painful scars of loss and trauma.
The cycle of violence continues and reproduces more and more violence and hatred.

It gives me no ‘satisfaction’ whatsoever to witness this scene, Violence and warfare achieve nothing but abject misery and pain.
At the conclusion of the carnage and slaughter, there is a MASSIVE price to pay.
The damage reverberates for generations.
THIS is why it must be the imperative duty of leaders to prevent escalation at ALL costs.
Instead - innocent people have their lives wrecked - dragged into hellscapes over and over again by the hubris of those militaristic ‘wheeler dealers’, who choose to commit genocide over humanity.
It is sheer and utter madness, but violent - egoic humans never learn.

If you’ve been following the news you’ll already know that all 12 of the freedom flotilla crew have been arrested and taken hostage by Israeli forces.
While we can breathe a massive sigh of relief that they’ve not been physically harmed, it remains to be seen how this will all turn out.
The idea behind the flotilla was to bring international attention to the genocide being perpetrated upon the Palestinian people and to call for an end to the blockade of aid.
And it is GENOCIDE… as clearly defined by Francesca Albanese in this interview.
Calling for an end to genocide does NOT mean you are a supporter of Hammas, nor does it mean you are antisemitic. This is a gas lighting strategy to prevent humanitarians from speaking out against genocide.

I’m deeply concerned for the safety of the people on board. The Israeli authorities are hardcore and won’t be restrained from using force against them. Remember the humanitarian US protester Rachel Corrie who was mowed down by a bulldozer???
Only time will tell what the outcome will be.
