GG2 Leadership and Diversity Awards

We are delighted to announce that Annie will be attending this years GG2 Leadership and Diversity Awards in London on Tuesday 16th September.

These prestigious awards will mark their tenth anniversary with some remarkable and inspiring women taking to the stage and talking about leadership in a male dominated world.

Confirmed speakers for the evening include: Annie Lennox (Musician and Activist), Sarah Brown (Wife of Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Patron of the White Ribbon Alliance), Naina Kidwai (Chief Executive Officer, HSBC India), Meera Syal (Author & Actress) and Karren Brady (Chief Executive Officer, Birmingham City Football Club)

Fundraising for the White Ribbon Alliance will take place on the night of the event. The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood is an international coalition of individuals and organisations formed to promote increased public awareness of the need to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for all women and newborns in the developing, as well as, developed countries.

As well as speaking at this event Annie will join Sarah Brown on stage to present The GG2 Hammer Award. This award will be presented to an individual ‘who has broken through the glass breaking’.
