Season of Mists and Mellow Fruitfulness… So far I’ve lived through 57 Autumns. That’s quite a few to date. There’s always something magical about the third season…especially at the point where all the leaves turn from green to a thousand different shades of red yellow and brown. Bare leafless trees are strikingly beautiful, but somewhat hard to take by the time October has been dragged through to February. I have a deep appreciation for trees, and always feel a tinge of disappointment when I encounter the remains of a cut down stump, where once a majestic arbour had reached up to inhabit the sky.
