Today’s blog features Nevergiveup Gogo – Beauty Nomvelo Skefile.
Beauty worked for 10 years on a rubbish dump, picking up bottles, plastic and cardboard to sell for recycling. The dump stank with rotten food. On her first day of work she felt sick all day. When she thinks back to that time she feels proud because she knows what it’s like to be a person with a hard life and because she learnt how to do what she had to do and not be afraid.
