Einstein in Clay and Under Perspex

This version of Einstein lives in the portrait gallery in Washington. It’s not the real Mr Einstein. It’s a clay rendition of his head, which sits on a simple pedestal under a clear perspex box. Mr Einstein doesn’t know that a clay version of his head is sitting under perspex in the museum, because the gentleman is no longer with us! However..I can’t help but wonder how he’d feel if he knew. Perhaps he might feel somewhat boxed in for a man with such big ideas?!
