Pretty intense...

This week has been pretty intense, so I haven't had too much time to write.

I would like to say "thank you" once again for all the compliments and words of appreciation I've received on the site.

It's funny, because I rarely ever listen to my own music once it's recorded...and of course I never know how people relate to it, or what circumstance they listen to it in.

And I have to say that it's gratifying that people seem to have drawn something positive from my work.

That was always my main reason for making music in the first place...and still is.

I don't expect it to be to everyone's taste and over so many years of being in some kind of spotlight or under scrutiny of some kind, I've learned to be more philosophical and accepting of whatever comes my way.

Anyhow I have three questions to throw at you meantime...

What is "art"?
What is beauty?
Do we all experience the same range of emotions?

Last time I put some questions to you I got some fascinating responses. I'm looking forwards to them!

I notice that the "forum" can get a little heated at times. It's funny really. We all tend to hold on so tightly to our own view points don't we? As if anything else might be a threat to our existence. So I would say...keep it light..even if the subject is heavy...you can learn to be flexible, and appreciate that everyone has their own subjective take on reality. I do particularly appreciate when people make suggestions for websites or organisations...That's really helpful and lovely.

Anyhow....I have to go to see La Vie En Rose Love Annie
